Paula Benzar

I'm a writer and illustrator based in Dublin, where I live with my husband and daughter. I've written and drawn for as long as I can remember, and picture books are where those two things finally came together. I work digitally, illustrating each page in Procreate.

The Perfect Nut Pie started at home. When my daughter began asking for stories, I found I had an endless supply. I'd make them up on the spot, night after night, until one of them felt worth keeping. So I wrote it down, drew it out, and made it into a book. It's the first, and I don't expect it to be the last.
